Since 2012, we have been making our award winning hand-made fudge in our little factory deep in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.

With our fabulous team of makers and packers, we now produce thousands of bags of fudge each week, yet we still make and pack everything by hand, using old fashioned recipes and traditional methods.

Recent additions to our range means we have a broad choice of flavours and styles of fudge, including our best-selling traditional crumbly style fudges, smooth fudge, and our increasingly popular vegan fudges.

Over the years we have won a number of awards and accolades, including a number of Great Taste awards, making us an accredited Great Taste Producer.

We have also won Fairtrade Awards, as well as being finalists in various local business awards. We were particularly pleased to win Small Business of the Year in the 2020 West Oxfordshire Business Awards, but the biggest thrill of all is knowing that our fudge is now stocked in well over 600 retailers around the country and overseas.

Traditional and Handmade

Our 100% scrumptious fudge and old fashioned confections are made entirely by hand, we do not use any additives or preservatives and source the freshest ingredients to create our crumbly style fudge.

To create our fudge we boil our ingredients to shockingly high temperatures, stirring all the while, before pouring into large bowls to cool. Once the fudge has begun to crystallise, we pour it into trays, add toppings and flavours, then we cut it into cubes by hand. Of course, being totally hand-cut means no two pieces are identical, but this just proves that is it truly authentic and made with love!!

As the business has grown, we have stayed true to our values – everything we and our team produce is made with Fairtrade ingredients and carries the Fairtrade Mark. That way you can be sure the small scale farmers who produce the sugar, and other vital ingredients in our sweets, are able to build a sustainable business. We are proud to use sugar and syrup from Tate and Lyle who source sugar from over 20,000 small scale farmers in 14 different groups in 4 countries; so by purchasing Cotswold Fudge Co you are making a positive contribution to communities in developing countries.
